This unique and innovative website is designed to enable all enthusiasts and aficiadoes of the Green Man to share, enjoy and discover more of their history. Green man-iacs are everywhere!!!

It is the first website which brings together all aspects of the Green Man and his many cousins.

The site will therefore also include Grotesques, Gargoyles, Misericords and other stone/ wood faces and carvings (collectively "GM’s") so that we can communicate and raise our awareness of these ubiquitous and curious silent faces from our past in so many countries and places.

I am delighted to confirm that Professor Carl Chinn MBE, PhD, FRSA, F Birm Soc has kindly agreed to be our Patron. Carl is well-known throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands - he is professor of community history at the University of Birmingham, a regular contributor to the Evening Mail, BBC Radio WM and local television programmes and author of over 21 acclaimed books on local history. He has been very supportive of my work not only with the Green Man Forum but also for The Moseleians Association when I was Chairman.

His powerful support for the Green Man Forum will be a sound investment of his time and energies.
