Green Man Forum and Folklore      Wednesday Jun 19 2013

This new website gives the opportunity for Green Man fans to network and share their experiences and ideas together in an informal and organised way. The term Green Man includes gargoyles, grotesques, medieval beasties and the many other stone or wood carved uglies which are found in so many different places.

Any help, advice or ideas for this site and for our Forum will be so useful.

A formal constitution with a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer may one day be necessary but until then I am happy to co-ordinate activities.

As support and awareness increase we can always use email to connect but it may in the future be good to communicate via a tele-conference or face-to-face at a central venue eg: Lichfield Cathedral, Tewkesbury Abbey etc etc.

Whatever help you can give, whatever skills and interests you have then please be prepared to share and help the Green Man Forum to develop and evolve so that new generations can enjoy, explore and keep alive this ancient concept.

Any information for inclusion onto this site will be happily received.

Simply send an email to:

Many thanks
